Their presence underscores the significance of India’s semiconductor market on the global stage.

Gujarat’s Semiconductor Initiative:

The Gujarat government signed a MoU worth Rs 22,500 crore with semiconductor chip giant Micron Technology during PM Modi’s visit. This agreement is aimed at establishing an Assembly, Testing, Marking, and Packaging (ATMP) facility in the state, further boosting India’s semiconductor capabilities.

Government Representatives’ Participation:

Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Railways and Communication Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar, and Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar attended the event on behalf of the Union government.
